The winner of the IX International Johann Matthias Sperger Competition in Ludwigslust, Germany where he also received special prizes for the best interpretation of sonata by Johann Matthias Sperger and the best interpretation of virtuoso piece (may 2016), International Instrumental Competition in Uberlingen am Bodensee in Germany, International Michał Spisak Music Competition in Dąbrowa Górnicza, where he also received a special prize for the best performance of compulsory piece as well as Bronisław Ciechański’s National Competition for Double bass, Poznań and semifinalist of ARD International Music Competition.
Laureate of third prize on International Bradetich Foundation Double Bass Solo Competition in Denton, Texas, USA (2017), third prize on 50-th International Instrumental Competition in Markneukirchen, Germany (2015), third prize at the International Serge Koussevitzky Double bass Competition in Sankt Petersburg, Russia (2013), third prize at the International Edouard Nanny Competition in Capbreton, France (2011) and top prizes at the competitions in Andernach, Amsterdam, Brno, Copenhagen, Katowice, Lviv, Łódź, Mielec, Warsaw and Wrocław.
Teacher at Academy of Music in Cracow and double bass player of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra.
He graduated from Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in class of Jan Kotula, receiving a medal Primus Inter Pares for the best graduate of the year. He was also studying at the Bern University of Arts in course Master of Arts Specialized in Music Performance – Soloist Diploma in class of Ruslan Lutsyk, which he graduated with distinction.
He honed his skills at masterclasses in Łańcut, Głuchołazy, Wrocław, Bałoszyce, Brno (Czech Republic) and Sion (Switzerland) with professors like Bozo Paradzik, Miloslav Jelinek and Bogusław Furtok. He also took lessons with Jadwiga Kaliszewska, Tomasz Strahl and Dominik Połoński.
He is a teacher at masterclasses in Nowy Sącz, Poland.
He performed on various music festivals like Young Competition Winners Festival, Student Art Festival, Chamber Music Festival Contrasts, Summer Music Concerts at Grochowska (organized by Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra), Summer Concerts Dziekanka organized by Frideric Chopin Univerity of Music, Days of Sofia Gubaidulina organized by Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra and World Bass Festival in Wrocław, Poland.
He performed a Polish premiere of Frank Proto's Nine Variants on Paganini orchestral version together with Silesian Philharmonic conducted by Mirosław Jacek Błaszczyk. He also appeared as a soloist with orchestras like Münchenner Kammerorchester, Sudwestdeutsches Kammerorchester Pforzheim, Brandenburgisches Staatorchester Frankfurt, Orquestra Filharmonica de Navarra, Sinfonieorchester Biel-Solothurn, Zabrze Philharmonic and String Orchestra of NOSPR.
He cooperated, among the others, with Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Berner Symphonieorchester, Mannheimer Philharmoniker, Sinfonia Varsofia, Sinfonietta Cracovia, AUKSO Chamber Orchestra or the Orchestra of New Music.
He received scholarships from president of Katowice, Polish Children’s Found, Polish Ministry of Culture, Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education and from Rector of Academy of Music in Katowice and Kraków. He also received a special prize from Polish National Center of Culture.
In 2018 he recieved a title of PhD in music, in 2021 his debut album "Contemporaty Sonatas for Double Bass & Piano" was released, recorded with pianist Hanna Holeksa, containing compositions by Sofia Gubaidulina, Lowell Liebermann and Frank Proto.
