Maciej Młodawski – cello
Cello concertmaster of the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic and member of the Lutosławski Quartet. Maciej Młodawski graduated with honors from the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, where he studied the cello class under prof. Tomasz Strahl and prof. Andrzej Bauer. He was also a guest student at the Hochschule für Musik Augsburg under Julius Berger and Sebastian Hess. Młodawski is a laureate of the D. Danczowski Cello Competition in Poznań and the Chamber Music Competition in Łódź.

As a soloist, he performed with the Wrocław Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, e.g. inaugurating the 2008/2009 season under the baton of Maestro Jacek Kaspszyk, he was also one of the two soloists (along with Garrick Ohlsson) on the orchestra's three-week tour in the United States. He also performed the Polish premiere of Ståle Kleiberg's "Dopo" for cello and string orchestra.
He perform regularly in Poland and abroad as a member of the Lutosławski Quartet as well as in piano trios and duets with pianists such as Marcin Masecki and Agnieszka Przemyk-Bryła. As a chamber musician, he shared the stage with Tomasz Strahl, Andrzej Bauer, Julius Berger, Tomoko Akasaka, Jakub Jakowicz, Michael Lethiec, Piotr Anderszewski, Jose Gallardo, Garrick Ohlsson, and many jazz artists: Uri Cain, Mark Feldman, John Ellis, Kenny Wheeler and many others.
As a soloist and chamber musician, he has also participated in famous festivals, such as: Wratislavia Cantans, Ensemble, Music on the Tops, Łańcuch, Lutosławski Forum, Hong Kong Arts Festival or Klara Festival in Brussels, and many more, in Poland, Turkey, Greece, Belgium, China and South Korea. As a musician he traveled to most European countries, as well as in Asia, the USA and Brazil. He has made many CD recordings both as the first cellist of the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic Orchestra and with the Lutosławski Quartet.
