Great final concert at the Szczecin Philharmonic
Oops we did it again! Standing ovation after the final concert of the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra at the Szczecin Philharmonic! We made the walls of the magnificent golden hall shook.
August 25. We couldn't have dreamed of a more beautiful finale of our orchestral workshops. Tickets sold out long before the concert, the hall packed with the audience and over a thousand listeners gathered in front of the screens watching the live broadcast of the concert on YouTube. And at the end, an enthusiastic standing ovation.
The Szczecin audience also appreciated the great class of our soloist Mateusz Żurawski, demanding an encore (succeeded) and of our conductor Rune Bergmann – the artistic director of the Szczecin Philharmonic.
It is said that when we played Lutosławski's Concerto for Orchestra the walls of the beautiful golden hall trembled. We confirm, we felt it ourselves.
