On August 24, the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra played for the first time at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław – one of the most prestigious music stages in Poland. Despite the extremely ambitious repertoire and great stage fright before such an event, our young musicians gave proof not only of their great talent but also of high professionalism.

"This concert was an absolute marvel" – the people told us when this extraordinary evening came to an end. The standing ovations were endless and the enthusiastic reactions of the audience will stay with us for a long time.

The debut on this stage as a soloist – the wonderful oboist Mateusz Żurawski, with whom we had the pleasure to share this great evening, also met with great applause. Mateusz gave a truly masterful show of virtuosity and artistry. Let us remind you that years ago he also participated (even twice) in the ILYO project.
And we playded under the baton of none other than maestro Rune Bergmann.
