The 11th edition of the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra officially opened
On Sunday, August 20, the most talented young musicians from Poland and Europe came to the Szczecin Philharmonic – home of ILYO – to prepare two wonderful concerts under the watchful eye of excellent tutors and conductor.
After the summer break, orchestral instruments resound again in the corridors and rehearsal rooms of the Szczecin Philharmonic. Our wonderful young musicians started intensive classes in the instrumental sections, where, under the supervision of experienced musicians from the best Polish and foreign ensembles, they go step by step through the most difficult fragments of the ambitious program of ILYO’s two final concerts.
