So it begins! ILYO is getting ready for the concerts
Welcome home! The International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra is back again in the Szczecin Philharmonic. The preparations for both concerts: in Berlin and Szczecin are in full swing.
Today, our talented young musicians have started working in instrumental sections under the supervision of tutors, on Friday they will meet the conductor for the first time. From now on they will work hard everyday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (on Saturday and Sunday also) to prepare themselves for the upcoming concerts.
Don’t forget, this ILYO will perform for the first time in the German capital, on the famous and prestigious stage of the Berlin Konzerthaus. Two days later, we will also play in the jaw dropping golden hall of the Szczecin Philharmonic. The program includes works by Karłowicz, Lutosławski and Bartók.
